~ Carol Hudson - Indiana, USA ~
Here’s a unique and really pretty way to complete the “Ceramic” Tile Tray. Carol put a picture behind the piece if plastic "tile" that comes with the kit and coordinated the tray colours to match. |

~ Cathy Brickner - Ohio, USA ~
Cathy plans to use her attractively-finished Vegetable Storage Bins in a country kitchen.
Cathy used The Daisy House "Hints & Tips for Building Better Kits" and stained the wood with 2802 Oak Folkart Stain. She modified the knobs with really great results. She explains, "The mini (modern) country kitchen I want to put the Vegetable Bins in will have cream as a main color. So I used 03017 Antique Glass Beads Mill Hill, gold crimming, and .5mm pins and painted the head gold (couldn't find my gold pins)." See photo below for her supplies.

~ Anne Keller - Wisconsin, USA ~
Anne replicated Claude Monet's studio, located in Giverny near Paris. Anne also sent a postcard of Monet's studio along with her roombox photos, and her roombox remarkably resembles Monet's studio! Anne has used the Daisy House Blanket Box kit (DAS001) as part of the furnishing in the studio. |

~ Phyllis Fryer Brown, USA ~
Phyllis used a number of Daisy House kits to furnish her miniature replica of the 1803 Howser House. The full-size house was originally built by American Revolutionary War veteran Henry Howser for his family. Henry was a successful stone mason and when he moved to South Carolina from Pennsylvania he built his home in the German design style.
Phyllis notes that her Howser House project will make its debut on
November 29, 2008 at the annual opening of the
real
Howser House, which stands in the Kings Mountain National Battleground Park, Blacksburg, South Carolina. After that the miniature replica house will go to its permanent home in the Kings Mountain Historical Museum in the Revolutionary War era town of
Kings Mountain,
North Carolina.
